I had this interesting conversation with my son a few weeks ago that hit close to home. He mentioned some mountains aren’t for climbing! Let me explained. spiritually speaking sometimes they are for resting and soaking. He shared a dream about a really steep mountain and he was trying to figure out how to climb up it and because it seem to steep and impossible, has he stood back he realized it was a dried up waterfall. As he spoke some more about his revelation about resting and soaking in the shadow of this mountain. I started to think about my own personal journey!
Sometimes it seems like were not getting anywhere we are busy, we are stressing we are doing everything we think with our current affairs, things seem to be falling apart, or your spinning your wheels and making no progress. These may be signs of a mountain that your not suppose to be climbing. Maybe God wants you to be still and rest, soak in His presence. Sing praises, do silly things, do things that aren’t very important for a season, but be ready to move when the Holy Spirit leads. Remember Holy Spirit leads us and He doesn’t often camp out long. So remember to enjoy the journey. Don’t get caught up in what’s not happening. Or rest so long you lose your focus and derail all together, getting distracted.
God promises to finish what He’s began in you. Philippians 1:6 God says he has a purpose and a plan for us. He is faithful to lead us one bread crumb at a time. He see’s what were going through, He see’s the finish gem He’s working on in you. He’s Faithfully moving you to where your going to Grow and Be all that He’s called you to be. Stay in peace! Trusting your right where your suppose to be. Don’t rush through, and don’t rest to long. Journey means: suggesting travel or passage from one place to another. Let’s enjoy this journey with God, Jesus already won the battle and we have the Holy Spirit leading us. If we will let Him.
Somethings to study and ponder: Do you have a mountain to rest under, or a mountain to climb right now! We have to live a life seeking First after our Father God’s Heart, are you? Quiet time to reflect where you are today.
Peace – is promised, but we have to choose it, sometime fight for it. But it’s possible.
God showed us in the Fruits of the Spirit is Peace. He said we must Seek Peace and Purse it. And if possible as far as it depends on Us live in Peace. And most important God said PEACE WILL GUARD OUR HEARTS AND MIND IN JESUS. Philippians 4:7
Verses to study: PEACE: John 16:33, Galatians 5:22, Hebrew 12:14. 1 Peter 3:11, 5:7. STRENGTH: Jeremiah 32:27, 1 Peter 4:12-13, Deuteronomy 31:16
Psalms 46:10 “Be still and Know I am God.”
Let me leave you with this promise. Nothing is to difficult for our Father God and He will Give us Peace as we seek after Jesus our Hero. You are not forgotten and very Loved.
