SEEDS AND YOUR HEART!

There’s some planting going on, and some toiling that may need to be done in your heart… Let’s talk about our Hearts. Are we leaving some area’s of our hearts untouched, and in that Brings some hardness, or some hidden area’s that God desires to till, so that you can harvest 20,30 even 100% more than you could ever imagine.

Jesus gives a great example or story of our Hearts and how we may not even realize that the soil of our hearts are unhealthy. Let me share from the parable of four soils from Mark 4. He explains the farmer who scatters seeds to grow a crop, the farmer represents anyone who brings God’s message to others.. As we spread the Good News, that’s the seeds that are being spread among those in our area of life. Remember God assigns all of us to different areas, regions, class of people etc.  The farmer is doing his job to grow his crop, planting, watering and God does the rest. Once the seed is in the ground, it’s then up to God to grow it.  As we look for areas of good soil.. we must remember nothing can grow if the ground is so hard the seed doesn’t go down, or if the soil is thin and there is no place for it to take root, or if the ground is full of thorns, weeds… it can’t take root.  I will explain these area so that maybe you can check your heart to see if you may need God to plow up some areas that are keeping the SEEDs of God from taking root and grow in you.

We cannot expect others to change us, or even do heart surgery. WE have to take responsibility for our own heart attitude or soil if you may. It comes by leaning into His Word the SEED of God and taking time to allow it to grow in us. Being honest is part of the process.  (Remember no one is perfect we all need tilling, growing, and pruning) He is our Master Farmer Lovingly growing us in the area’s we have given him permission. God waits for us to surrender.

You can ask yourself these questions for a heart check!  Am I hurting, Am I angry, Exhausted, Resentful, and Stressed out. These are the things that can cause hardness of heart to form. This will help you let go or bring to God for healing. He desire you to trust him and let him heal your pain, fear, insecurity, bitterness. These are the very things that keep us from growing. For God to transform us. We don’t want to be like the Seeds that fall on a hard path and the enemy come and snatch the truth, or we get excited about our new found Jesus but soon fall back into old bad habits, these happen when there are things in our heart that we aren’t being honest about.

Maybe you get excited about know God and meeting Jesus but then the world pressures or distractions come and lure you back into the world and not in the Kingdom coming.  God says we don’t always know our hearts, so we must ask him or ask Your closes friends that you can trust to be honest, and you be willing to hear truth that may hurt at first, but so necessary to hear so that you can grow up spiritually.

Hard ground = is where some seeds fell, representing a hard heart of some of those who hear God’s word or his message, satan comes at once and try to make them forget it.

Thin or Rocky soil =  The heart of those who hear the message with great joy, but the seeds don’t take root and they soon as challenges come in their life they wilt and die.

Thorns= is where you hear the word of God and receive it with great excitement, but then the attractions of the world come like wealth, success and nice things lure them away and over crowds their hearts and no crops are produced from the seeds.

Good soil= is where those who hear the word and truly accept God’s message, they turn from the world and pursue God with all their heart, they are so excited and in Love with the Word their seeds grow deep and produce a great harvest for God. God says this can produce a harvest 30, 60 even 100 times more than they planted.

You see God desires to use you and grow you to do great and many things for the Kingdom. Not of this world but the world to come, the one that we will live forever.

He reminds us, when our hearts our open and soft, we are a Light set upon a table for all to see, and for those to be drawn to in a dark world. Imagine a room that is dark, you turn on a lamp, are you going to put the lamp on top of the table so all can see clearly or are you going to Put the lamp in a closet, or under a blanket and no one can see it. YOU ARE THE LIGHT, SO BE THE LIGHT WHERE GOD HAS PLANTED YOU, LET HIM GROW THE SEEDS. Stop looking back, or looking at your hurt, your pain, you misunderstood, or mistreated from someone. Take  your broken-heart and trust God with it. Then you will be MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER ASK OR IMAGINE. Ephesians 3:20

You can be a beautiful LIGHT FOR GOD.
