WHAT IS LOVE IF IT CAME AS A GIFT!

December 18, 2019

Today’s Heart of God Blog

What would Love look like in a Gift form!

If someone handed you a beautiful wrapped Gift and Smiled reaching out too you!

Your response, I’m sure would be a Huge Smile, and  Humbly reaching for it with great expectation.  At least that’s how I picture my response… But as I pondered this with my Father and I see love in such a different fashion…

It looks like this to me!  (I write this from a personal place).

  • To Give a Hug when I don’t deserve it.
  • To touch me when I am nasty dirty and untouchable
  • To Kiss my cheek when I’ve just insulted you.
  • To give me  your shoes, when my feet are  filthy gross to touch or even look at, and yet you stoop down to help me put on  your shoes.
  • To drive across town to meet me, just to be forgotten when you arrive.
  • To not bring up my pain of my past mistakes and life style
  • To speak lovingly when I’m angry and not lovable
  • To not insult me or talk down to me.
  • To tell me  you LOVE Me, when I’ve hurt you badly
  • To carry me or walk with me when I’m cranky tired.
  • To call my Name or text me, when I’ve ignored you time and time again.
  • To wait patiently for me while I run from you.
  • To come to my rescue when I’ve falling in a pit of Hell.

This is Love  in a form of a “Gift” given to me in!

~DIRTY, STINKY GRASS COVERED, OLD WOODEN MANAGER! MY GIFT, “BABY JESUS”~

THE MOST AMAZING LOVE GIFT, I’VE EVER RECEIVED. HE HAS TURNED INTO “MY HERO”

Ponder this in the days ahead!

How do you act when you receive a gift not wrapped the way you would expect!

LOVE HAS NO BOUNDARIES, LOVE CANNOT BE EARNED

IT’S A FREE GIFT YOU CAN ONLY ACCEPT!

This Season write down what your “Gift of Love would look like.

  1. Oh Sophie. I love your blogs. I look forward to reading them every week. You’ve never seen yourself as a writer, but I must say that you are a very great writer. The way you look at things and express yourself and your relationship with God is so amazing. I would love to see you write a Christian woman’s self help book. God gives you the perfect words to describe the message God wants us to hear. I love it! Keep writing. You have a great gift!

    Love, Kristy
